I was born on January 11, 1987, in Tbilisi. My roots trace back to the mountainous region of Khevi, specifically the village of Gergeti in Kazbegi. The majestic and rugged beauty of my homeland has profoundly shaped my artistic talent; I have always felt a deep calling to translate that splendor onto paper and canvas.
Art has been my refuge since childhood. I recall times when, lacking professional materials, I would paint on “borrowed” bedsheets, mixing watercolors with cooking oil to mimic the texture of oils. Though I eventually chose to study Fashion Design and Construction, my passion for painting never waned. During my university years, I could only manage small sketches, yet I never stopped dreaming of having my own easel, oil paints, and the solitude of nature to create.
That dream was realized by my husband, who gifted me a handmade easel while we were still dating. This gesture became the catalyst for my serious return to art. I began painting extensively with oils during the pandemic, though the loss of my father led to a period of creative silence. In November 2024, I rediscovered my muse and have been painting passionately ever since. In March 2025, I participated in my first exhibition at the invitation of the talented artist Irina Jincharadze—an experience filled with overwhelming emotion. To me, painting is more than a hobby; it is a vital part of my soul and a lifelong companion
